It is no secret that I adore a collaboration. Over the last 5 years, Range has become a web for creatives of endless modalities, which has opened up the opportunity for meaningful collaboration.
Breathable, organic clothing designed to move and live in with Sokoi
The natural scent of the forest by way of a roller ball perfume and room spray called Verdant, with Soapwalla
A branded cork yoga mat with 42Birds
A candle that is so good, I get asked about a restock every day, with Forestbound
A canvas bag, my first collaboration ever, with Paridaez
It is incredibly important to me that when entering the process of collaborating with another, it is always the intention that we use local goods + materials and create something that adds to the nurturing atmosphere of Range. This is not about creating “more more more” but of taking our time to craft something that truly comes from the heart, and ignites the senses. This particular small collaboration benefits 10 small businesses.

Circadia: derived from two Latin words circa and diem, meaning "around the day."
Many of you can no longer imagine Range without the invitation to sip warm beverages as we move together. It has simply become ingrained within our class culture that we sip tea and coffee as we hydrate our joints, awaken living cores and expand muscular capacity. Just as we’ve learned that movement can and should be filled with pleasure, we’ve learned that there’s comfort in creating an environment that is warm, soothing and delicious. Circadia was dreamed up, taste tested and brought to fruition by local (Woodstock, VT) friends Claire Keith of Elements Aligned and Kara Duval of Range.
Circadia is a loose-leaf herbal tea blend that can be sipped and savored from your favorite ceramic vessel anytime throughout the day; from when your eyes first open with the greeting sun, to when they begin to fade as the moon rises overhead. Circadia meets you where you are at, provides nourishment to various systems, grounds you into your body while giving your mind a break, and offers a sensorial experience that caters to your individual needs. (naturally caffeine free)
Circadia is crafted with organically-grown herbs from three incredible herb farms in Vermont (Foster Farm Botanicals, Wilson Farm, and Newfield Herb Farm). Grown and harvested with care during the 2024 season, this blend is potent with its intent, yet subtle in its flavor. It can be sipped on its own, blended with honey or maple, prepared cold or hot or as a solar infusion. Brewing time depends on your individual preferences and ritual! Just as Range provides YOU with the freedom to make motion your own, we wish the same for Circadia. We promise, you cannot screw it up.

So, this is what Circadia is, but if you know me, you know I love to tell a story. This is not just tea for tea’s sake…this is personal. This is medicinal.
At the beginning of every class, you witness me holding a warm cup of tea as I walk you through our introduction. One of my favorite daily rituals is waking up, walking downstairs to turn my kettle on, and choosing the ceramic vessel that calls to me that day. I begin everyday with earl grey with milk + honey (holy shit, you know, I am redundant!) but immediately after class, it is time for my herbal tea. This ritual came to life a few years ago, as a result of my diagnosis of endometriosis and adenomyosis. The soothing warmth of tea creates an internal cocoon for my often aching belly. The herbs themselves provide loving support and flow for my liver Qi. The simple act of sipping slowly, soothes my nervous system.
Claire and I both live in the tiny town of Woodstock, Vermont. I started visiting her booth at Markets On The Green on Wednesday afternoons and as I described the sensations within my belly, she recommended one of her blends called Maidens Of The Moon. It’s just tea (my own brain thought), no it’s not. Prior to my excision surgery in February 2024, I was spending roughly 20 days out of the month in physical and emotional agony. Maidens Of The Moon became medicine for my exhausted body. Claire is a Range member just like many of you; as I hold her through motion, she holds me right back with her magical, herbalist ways.
When we began the discussion of creating something together, we would meet each other at our local coffee shop, Abracadabra. As we sipped London Fogs together, I loved that she began this collaborative process by asking me, “how do you want this to tea make you feel?”
Grounded, soothed, natural; much like a Range class, wouldn’t you say?
It was important to us to create an herbal blend that could be sipped whenever. We felt strongly that the flavor wouldn’t be so potent so that you only crave it occasionally. It felt important to us that the herbs used, were supportive for various systems within the body without being too overpowering.
We landed with Nettle, Chamomile, Milky Oat Tops, Marshmallow Leaf, Skullcap, Calendula, Peppermint. Yes, that felt so right.

Both Claire and I have been sipping Circadia, for months. Most often, I sip warm from my teapot just as is. On warm days, I steep with honey and then pour over ice in a large glass mason jar. She (Circadia) has become a trusted and delicious friend….a friend, we are excited to finally be able to share with you.
Everything, from the herbs, to the packaging, to the wooden spoon she comes with, to the letterpress note she arrives with, is intentional.
She is sunshine in a cup and she beckons you to sip as you spiral.
Dreamed up by 2 friends, in 1 tiny town, from 3 Vermont farms.
From our hands, to your bellies. Available to you on the Summer Solstice.
I was very excited to get in on the launch- but the price gave me pause.
I know you appreciate transparency, honesty and hopefully feedback.
It seems extremely high for only 2oz of tea-then add shipping and it's beyond most of the regular person's budget, especially if you want to reorder. Those who have more disposable income will certainly go for it, but it feels like a shut out for those of us who can't justify it.
I am such an unorganized person typically but had my alarm set to get some! Just placed my order, with a couple other goodies from Elements Aligned. I can’t wait to try it. What a wonderful idea! Thanks, Kara❤️☕️
